Responsibilities
|
Select ranges and products suitable for local markets, following customer demand and local trends and working with the merchandising team to deliver financial objectives.
Liaise with design and buying teams in Europe to develop and adapt market relevant ranges and add on products.
Be the voice of the brand in Dubai and within the organisation to facilitate merchandise planning and to communicate brand values and direction to operations and marketing personnel.
Support in-store promotional and other activities ensuring merchandise is available on time and liaising with Visual Merchandising teams to ensure optimum and uniform presentation.
Contribute to the development of business plans, associated budgets and buying strategies, monitoring range performance and initiating corrective actions where necessary to ensure on-budget performance.

Eligibility
|
Ideally educated to Degree level in any discipline required.
Proven track record, over at least 3 to 5 years, in fashion buying (ideally womenswear / accessories) with a real flair for product development.
Blue chip retail background, fashion experience essential.
Articulate, passionate, self-motivated, resilient, a good listener.
Willing to travel internationally and develop network of business relationships.
