Job Description

- Evaluate and improve processes on all production lines.​

- Increase reliability and availability of equipment by improving preventive maintenance routines, and instituting predictive failure analysis tools.​

- Improve productivity, efficiency, and yields on production lines.​

- Study and establish process capabilities (CpK’s) across various manufacturing equipment.

- Improve product quality through material, process, and/​or machine modifications.​

- Collect, record, and analyze data.​

- Participate in Corrective Action teams as required to respond to customer requirements or concerns.​

- Take ownership of production trials and/​or machine modifications.​

- Innovate, design, and implement changes to equipment or processes to meet corporate goals.​

- Work with outside contractors on RFQ, Bids, Selection, and Installation/​Procurement on projects or contracted tasks.​

- Ensure projects are completed on time.​

- Track and follow budgets and cost controls.​

- Research new processes, equipment, and opportunities for the manufacturing environment.​


Key Skill


Eligibility Criteria

  • - Strong Engineering skills to analyze and implement required solutions.​ Heavy reliance on mechanical engineering skills; electronic /​ PLC control systems experience a plus.​

    - Minimum five (5) years experience in similar process engineering /​ manufacturing engineering role(s).​

    - Excellent communication skills and ability to work across different departments and job functions.​

    - Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing techniques beneficial.​

    - Basic financial acumen and analytical ability to evaluate economic impact of processes, changes, waste streams, and opportunities for improvement.​

    - Ability to work in an ISO-registered environment to insure accountability to standard operating procedures and traceability standards.​

    - Ideal candidate will have ability to develop and grow into wider responsibilities and management opportunities over time.​

    - Expert knowledge of web handling requirements and tension control systems a plus.​
