Job Description

Handle the complete new product development and design functions related to fabrics (embroidered & printed) and related products like unstitched sets, sarees etc.
Manage the entire product chain in all stages from design, sampling and production.
Analyse the design and product gaps in the current product portfolio and align it with the overall objective of the company.
Work extensively on digital prints to create and comprehensive and exhaustive product portfolio for domestic as well as international markets.
Understand the requirements and opportunities in the international market and align and develop products suited for them.
Create a strong product line with distinct design sense apart from our existing fabric line as a top priority and set up the entire product chain in them.
Look after the overall product design in the fabrics division.

Key Skill

  • Textiles and Garments, Fashion Designing and Merchandising, Fashion Designing, Fashion Illustration, digital print, fabrics, apparels, Adobe Photoshop, Coral Draw, illustrator, indesign.

Eligibility Criteria

  • UG - Any Graduate - Any Specialization.
    PG - Post Graduation Not Required.
    Doctorate - Doctorate Not Required.
    Should have done Textile/Fashion Designing from NIFT, New Delhi.
    Excellent design sensibilities required for developing premium range of fabrics mainly suited for fashion.
    Excellent Computer knowledge of MS Office, Photoshop, Coreldraw and other designing softwares.
    A strong orientation towards fashion, past knowledge in designing embroideries, prints and products, extraordinary color sense and capability to lead the team.
    Experience in ethnic products a must.
    The candidate should have an extensive eye for details and love for Indian textiles. Should be hard working, honest and completely committed towards work.
    Should be able to analyse and understand market feedback regularly to facilitate the new product development round the year.
    Should have very sound knowledge of weaving, embroideries and prints.
