Job Description

Create and implement effective sales strategies and lead nationwide sales personnel toward achievement of distributors/retailers and corporate sales in apparel business.
Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales and marketing policy.
Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.
Provide sales management, budget control, compensation programs and incentive planning.
Ensure effective hiring, orientation, training, development and retention of sales staff.
Provide supervision through field visits, observations and measurement of results to include performance appraisals and sales reviews.
Proactively identify trends in fashion business, delivery mechanism, and competitive pressures to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
Manage to meet/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
Draft and negotiate agreements with Distributors and Dealers and ensure effective implementation.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum M.B.A. Graduate in any stream.
    Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in garment retail business, preferably should have worked with reputed national level brands.
    Solid understanding of servicing and nominating distributors and retailers according to brand profile.
    Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plans.
    Proven business analysis and judgment with the ability to proactively manage business meet objectives.
    Exceptional negotiation skills.
    Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally.
    Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
    Business related computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
    Extensive travelling required.
