Job Description

Analyze data, reports, and process in order to improve the productivity and profitability of the operation through initiation and implementation of projects that optimize costs, efficiency, and quality.
Recommends the best methods of space, manpower, material, and equipment utilization in production facilities.
Work directly or indirectly with manufacturers in order to improve efficiencies productivity, quality, and on time delivery.
Help manufacturers to reduce manufacturing cycle time and improve speed to market.
Investigates, plans, and works with other departments, such as production and quality, to execute cost reduction initiatives by analyzing and evaluating projects, developing action plans, coordinating, implementing, and following-up for results.
Assists facilities in the area of workplace safety.
Determine cost effect of special requests from other teams.
Generate monthly and quarterly activities reports, as well as detailed factory trip report with summaries of opportunities, results of tests, and photos/diagrams.

Eligibility Criteria

Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar and with at least 4 years of practical experience in sizeable multinational.
Experience in shirts/ tops/apparel manufacturing is critical.
Practical knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Industrial Engineering field.
Familiar with standard concepts and practices within the garment manufacturing field.
Preferably with exposure to manufacturing, cost reduction, and logistics fields.
Excellent oral & written communication skills in English.
Strong computer skills e.g Excel.
Detail-oriented, creative, good analytical & presentation skills, good interpersonal & communication skills.
Open to expats.
