The job holder will be responsible for developing buying plans for the assigned department/category.The job holder will also ensure smooth buying operations through vendor identification, evaluation and selection, in compliance with the contract principles to achieve the strategic and financial objectives of the concept.Buying Budget and Planning.Vendor Management.Order Management.Buying for complete accessories Category.Accountable for profitability & growth of the department.Bring market intelligence & newness to the department.Range building & collection planning within season’s deadline.Introduce new suppliers & brands for the department.Aggressive negotiations.Budgeting & planning as per department OTB.Setting selling prices (MRP) while maintaining the margins ( pre & post sale ).Monitor sales/category performance on daily basis.
