Job Description

You will be responsible for the entire process of and will ensure availability of cut panels of the right quality and quantity to meet the requirements of the plant.
You will adhere to the cutting plan to ensure that the order shipments are sent in as per stipulated plan & timelines.
While supervising and managing all the operations & people in the Cutting Department, you will attend to relevant technical and administrative issues and coordinate with cross functional teams to arrive at speedy solutions.
You will ensure that high productivity is maintained in the cutting room by minimizing material wastage.

Eligibility Criteria

You should possess an academic/professional qualification in garment manufacturing.
An additional qualification in textile/fabric technology is desirable.
A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the industry is required.
You should have the skill to communicate effectively with the necessary stake holders & maintain excellent interpersonal skills.
You should be knowledgeable on fabric & the entire manufacturing value chain. You will be proactive, assertive and forward thinking.
You will take ownership in delivering a flawless execution and ensure that it is driven by the cutting team.
