Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role would be to manage the BIA network, data center and system infrastructure (AD, Exchange and Lync) to provide problem resolution, incident management, vendor escalation, product implementation, continuous improvement of services/standards and ensuring security.
The role requires quick response and pro-activeness to cater to the demands of BIA with sound knowledge and experience of networking, Cisco infrastructure, managing the data center and associated technologies (Windows Server, Virtualization), AD and Lync. The role would involve regular interactions with external service providers, vendors, corporate IT team and end users.

Eligibility Criteria

You should hold a degree in Computer Networking / ICT, Professional experience in an IT environment including 5+ years’ experience with LAN/WAN Network Switching, Routing, QOS, WIFI, IP Telephony, Cisco infrastructure (switches, routers & firewalls) including installation, configuration, tuning, administration & support and security.
Experience should include expertise in enterprise technologies such as Windows Server platforms, Exchange Environments, Active Directory, Lync and Virtualization Technologies (VMware/Citrix) as well as Network/Server, Security.
You should be Able to resolve technical challenges with little to no supervision.
Ability to work under pressure. Proven leadership and a good team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A positive, “can-do” attitude and customer focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity. Having certifications related to the areas mentioned above
