Job Description

Carryout hands-on management of the dye house operations and improvement of dyeing operations.
Ensure dye house meets all production and quality needs.
Oversee scheduling, materials and labour to ensure that dyeing deadlines are achieved.
Supervise the dyeing operations team.
Resolve technical issues in dyeing operations.
Review and evaluate internal processes to improve efficiency.
Resolve dyeing mistakes and finishing problems.
Overall waste management in dye house, safe disposal of dyes and chemicals.

Key Skill

Dye-House Manager (Textiles and/or Yarn).

Eligibility Criteria

5+ years of supervisory experience in a textile dye house.
Tertiary qualification in textiles essential.
Ability to communicate in French highly advantageous/preferred.
Knowledge of beam dyeing, high-pressure / high-temperature dyeing, and colour matching.
Experience with dyeing of polyester substrates is preferred.
Working knowledge of colour development and production of colours.
Must be willing to be a "hands on" manager-have a roll up the sleeves mentality.
Proactive on problem solving and resolution oriented.
Working knowledge of maintaining schedules and manpower requirements.
Ability to communicate with all levels in the department; excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
