Job Description

You will be responsible in developing and implementing sales and marketing plans of the relevant business unit by creating a best fit between materials plans, customer’s delivery schedules and production capacity and ensuring on time delivery of bulk orders by constantly monitoring order progress and initiating corrective actions. You will also be responsible for the entire process from order confirmation to actual shipment which includes reducing the order management cycle time, closely monitoring production in order to avoid delivery slides. You will be responsible for methodically following up on TNAs and driving OTT and OTD simultaneously. You will be called upon to build strong customer/supplier relationships and will also have to work closely with factory staff, supply chain & the customer.

Eligibility Criteria

You should possess an academic/professional qualification in marketing and a minimum of 2-3 years experience in merchandising. Good negotiation skills accompanied with effective communication skills with the ability to take ownership in delivering exceptional value to the organization whilst achieving customer satisfaction will be a key attribute. Exposure to other aspects of apparel manufacturing, fabric & trims will be an added advantage. You should be a good team player who has the ability to co-ordinate between all relevant parties with risk analyzing skills and be proactive, assertive and forward thinking.
