Job Description

To study the market, understand the shopper, & develop designer apparel products for women's wear and kids wear in line with the organizations objectives & upcoming market trends, in turn providing higher profit margins and increased Private Label share in Apparel.
To deliver high value designs resulting in increased sales for each category assigned.
Focus on increase in PL share by designing low priced high value apparel products at par or better than competition
Market Survey to understand market assortment, color trends & price points.
Analyze Sell Through of styles to gauge shopper's behaviour women's wear and kids wear Range.
Design Must Haves & Fashion Products.
Name all styles for organized sorting & analysis.
Coordinate with vendors for sampling of designed styles.
Advise vendors to incorporate necessary changes to make styles production friendly.
Coordinate with QC Dept. for PP Approvals.
Create display template and coordinated with stores to follow suit.
Trend Forecast Presentation: Upcoming domestic & international trends divided under themes for each Hit
CAD Presentation of designed Range: Theme/Hit Wise
Sample/Range Presentation: Samples developed according to the CADs
