Business development by assessing vendor’s resources capacity according to our highest expectations.Analyze the market forecast for the merchandise; obtain correct & proper products to present to the buyers.Co-ordinate and liaise with buyers & vendors for identifying new product.Negotiate quotes & prices with vendor on new products/orders to enable vendors to obtain orders for their area of specialization.Provide guidance Factory to understand and follow systems & procedures.Costing plan with cost evaluation and pricing product costing and negotiating.Coordinate buying meetings locally and internationally.Coach and guide the Merchandising team.Critical Path analysis.Formulating new business strategy.Sourcing the best possible pricing.Work on Business development and new buyer development.Work with management in formulating new business strategy for local /International market in accordance to the Retail Market’ trend, Competitors’ activities etc.Analyze the retail market forecast for the merchandise.Work with the suppliers for committed orders and monitor the production Critical Path regularly to ensure on time shipment.Coordinate buying meetings between buyers and suppliers (locally and internationally).Special Note: Responsible for overall management of operational activities of the group mainly related to Knit Composite Garments Industry located at Jirani Bazaar (Opposite to B.K.S.P), Gazipur.
