Job Description
To ensure the production targets of the department are met efficiently (in time) and effectively (in quality) within the allocated resources.To handle (Plan/Organize/direct/control) finishing production of 25 Tons Terry Towel/Day.To understand the priorities of marketing department and regulate the production plans accordingly so as to deliver the dispatch of required product in time and in quality.To minimize the quality defects while finishing the product and bring down the B grade % at industrial benchmark levels.To train, develop, retain and manage the workforce of the department in order to obtain maximum productivity with highest levels of quality by individual performance monitoring of the workers.Monitoring and reducing the cost of production right from receiving the WIP to processing the finished product followed by quality inspection and ending at final dispatch.To ensure that production plans are timely executed and achieve the standard of 100 % delivery on Time every time. To practice and implement 6 Sigma and Kaizens at the floor to boost the productivity or cut costs.To record, report analyze and present the production trends in inter-departmental and intra-departmental meetings so as to ensure process improvements.To prepare, maintain and circulate the production related reports.
