Job Description
To plan, organize, direct and control quality production of Terry Towels, ensuring timely delivery of required levels of quality product with minimized wastage and customer complaints. To play the role at leadership levels and ensure execution of quality initiatives/programs in entire operations of Terry Towel in the organization.Monitoring the development of the product from the inception to the final stage.Providing inputs for meeting the QA requirements and ensuring the same during development through review / audits.To deal with customers and marketing team pertaining to product rejection/quality issues, understand the complaints, find out the RCA, investigate the reason of fault in delivered product, take time frame based corrective actions and align the team (down the line) with quality objectives.To run quality drives, assimilate data and present improvements in quality production (rejections/complaints/wastage).To plan QA operations in Grey Yarn Testing, Quality check at Loom State ( Weaving & Preparatory ), Check New Towel, Maintain Pile Ratio for GSM Control, Quality check in shearing, Dyeing Various Fastness Tests, Finishing & Packing, Carton Checking, Arrange Final Inspection.Ensuring the compliance of the various parameters/points as per customer requirements.Follow up with Production team regarding any deviation from specs/quality in the product.Drives quality awareness across the organization, through coaching and influencing.To percolate quality circles, six sigma and TQM principles in the plant production process & ensure minimal end product rejections in QC stage.To conduct RCA for quality defects and remove the recurrence of defects.To derive profit equations from investments in bringing better quality product by utilizing optimum organizational resources.
