Job Description

We are looking for a well experienced Merchandiser specialized in Denim wears in the denim apparels team.
You should have strong commercial awareness, business acumen, the ability to lead and develop a team, an interest in fashion & trends, strong communication & influencing skills, passion for sales & client services and be able to work in collaboration with the Buyers and Designers. We need confident candidates that can operate within an extremely fast paced trading environment.
You will ensure that we meet our strict Quality Standards, be a customer focused individual who understands the importance of meeting our buying team’s expectations.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduates with apparel/textile experience.
Desired Skills and Experience
You have to develop new relationships with both suppliers and our buyers through your excellent communication skills. Attention to detail and follow up is also a pre-requisite.
You will have at least 2-5 years experience in Merchandising and garment industry. Your background will be in a high volume garment business across many lines. You will demonstrate an excellent knowledge of garment and fabrication and be well versed in current and future trends. Experience in working with Buyers from overseas is a prerequisite. You will also have a sound background to coordinate with factory production team to meet both cost, quality and timeline commitments. A passion for the industry and be pro active to work closely with buyers, supply chain people in all stock related topics to react quickly to opportunities and problems which impact sales.
