Job Description
Core & energetic fashion designer (From PEARL/NIFT or related institutes) who will work as an independent terminal to contribute towards new product design and development. Since we have complete product making set up in-house, the designer's primary contributions will be in the area of channelizing innovative design ideas and support the marketing team for conduction market research.To conceptualize and design from scratch, also to pick up trends and customize the designs as per target market needs.To come up with illustrations and facilitate New Product Development in close coordination with marketing and production team.Candidate Should not keep himself/herself restricted to the brief given and should be able to brainstorm and come up with innovative ideas to bring the project to reality.Producing detailed, final hand drawings and specifications or, more likely, using dedicated computer software (CAD) to produce design specifications, including parts lists and costings.Estimate material requirements and costs, and present design for approval.Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours and shapes.Liaising closely with sales, buying and production teams on an ongoing basis to ensure fitment of designs with customer briefs.Overseeing production of samples.Adapting existing designs for mass production.
