Job Description

Responsible for inspection of handbags/garments and regular quality audits for quality assurance.
Making sure standards meet latest international standards and customer expectations.
Conducting random inline inspections to maintain consistent quality standard.
Setting standards for quality as well as health and safety.
Working with the Mills /Vendors/Merchandisers/Garment production in establishing & applying the standards to achieve Performance towards Quality from Fabric to Garment.
Execute & follow-up with Mills/Vendors from the sampling to Bulk production making.
Reduces inventory and rework.

Key Skill

Quality Management All Quality Management, all technical compliance, cost reducing and effective, cost effective production methods.

Eligibility Criteria

Strong in depth knowledge of fabrics, designs and process improvement systems.
Technical garment/handbag background.
Minimum 7-8 years experience in Quality Control in Apparels Industry.
Experience maintaining and developing quality control systems.
Excellent computer and communication skills.
Able to monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
Preferably a graduate of a reputed fashion institute.
