Job Description
Manage component supply and inventory levels, plan and purchase for material requirements, and ensure flow of materials for production and distribution.Evaluate and select suppliers based upon assessment of their quality system and capabilities.Develop and enhance relationships with strategic supplier/partners.Negotiate and writes contracts as needed to purchase goods and services.Perform financial analysis to support sourcing decisions.Drive cost saving and quality improvement projects.Work with Quality and Engineering to review and process rejected material for final disposition.Coordinate return of material for credit or replacement.
