Job Description

Supervision of a work force of Pattern Masters, Supervisors, sample-men (tailors), cutting-men, iron-men, finishing-men, printing-men, dyeing-men, embroidery-men, etc., who are involved in making all types and categories of samples (woven, Jersey and knits garments for men, ladies, children, etc.
Interpretation of the sample designs which comes from overseas sales office designers and/or merchant teams.
Report to Head Of Merchandising

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Bachelor's Degree from any reputed university.
Technical qualification on Textile/ Fashion Design will be an added advantage.
He applicant must have 10 - 12 years of hands-on (sampling) experience dealing with apparel product design & development and out of which, at least 5 years in managerial position in reputed large group of companies.
Must have excellent knowledge in designing knits garments with capacity to handle renowned buyers from all over the world.
Should have hands-on experience related to customer relations management, product design and business development and sampling for new buyers, etc.
Should be able to work on own initiative under pressure with set target.
Should have proven leadership and inter-personal skills with capacity to anticipate and provide solutions to the problems.
