Job Description

Manage both Development and Production Merchandising.
Plan and allocate styles at the start of the season to ensure a good balance of workload within the merchandising teams.
Work with Senior Product Developers / Product Developers / Merchandisers to carry out their tasks to achieve targets and goals.
Interpret buyers' requirements, policies and system into our internal system.
Negotiate prices with buyers.
Work with Senior Manager to do planning of styles allocation for bulk to all production factories based on capabilities and volume.
Subject to the assigned brand/customer, points 1-6 need not necessarily be the JD of Manager - Merchandising,Sourcing, Buying & Merchandising for Woven apparels of various Categories i.e. Women, Men and Kids wear.

Key Skill

Technical knowledge about garment manufacturing sampling strike - offs printing.

Eligibility Criteria

Good Knowledge of European Apparel Retail Customers with respect to fabric & trims testing, garment testing, documentations, etc.
Knits Fabric Technical Knowledge is must.
Woven Fabric exp is an added advantage .
Good network in sourcing fabrics & trims for international markets.
