Job Description

Ensure input margins are in line with company objectives.
Manage and monitor stock levels as per company strategy.
Manage and monitor input/sales margin as per company strategy.
Manage and ensure operation of buying department is aligned with company strategy.
Manage and ensure operation of quality department is aligned with company strategy.
Identify and address training needs.
Ensure adherence to the departmental critical path.
Demonstrates firmness but fairness when dealing with members of the team.
Effective delegation.
Supplier meetings.
Implement trading terms, service level agreements, contracts and compliance documents as per Skye objectives
Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships.
Analyze reports and provide feedback and recommendations as necessary.
Deliver feedback in requisite meetings.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Matric.
    Relevant diploma or degree in Management/Finance/Commerce.
    5 years senior management experience with a focus on brand management; merchandise planning and procurement; sales and logistics; finance; marketing.
    5 years experience in apparel merchandise management in retail/distribution sector.
    Be able to demonstrate management techniques in a complex situation.
    Analytical & Excel skills.
    Good communication skills.
    Honesty, integrity and good work ethics.
    Dependability.
    Be self-motivated .
    High energy levels.
