Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Manager who can really help expand the current customer base. The responsibilities have been described below:

Identify and approach new buyers and buying houses (in India and abroad)
Regularly travel to Delhi NCR to build relationships with all the buyers and merchandisers
Coordinate sampling efforts for buyers with the sampling team
Lead product development and work out costs based on client requirements
Meet and present to buyers at exhibitions and meetings
Stay updated with latest trends in the international textile industry
In-charge of pushing Suraaj’s products on B2B platforms like Alibaba
Role may require international traveling in the future
Stay up to date with international design trends in home textiles
Work with other Business Development Managers in the team to expand markets

Key Skill

Past experience working with buying agencies like Li & Fung, William E -Connor, etc.
Good technical knowledge of textiles
Great communication skills, and fluency in English

Eligibility Criteria

Experience: At least 2 years in business development in home textile sector
Not mandatory, but helpful:Experience using B2B platforms like Alibaba, Global Sources and IndiaMart
