Job Description

Efficient, organized, deadline orientated and task driven with the ability to manage schedules, task lists and approval documentation.
Well-spoken, presentable and confident, able to assist the Senior Designer/Merchandiser with range presentations and customer meetings.
Creative with a critical eye for design, detail and general taste level. Up to date with current trends, but able to adapt to the needs of a conservative outdoor brand.
Able to manage and work with a graphic artist to produce and extensive range of printed graphics each season
The ability to work under pressure, manage a wide range of styles, multitask and work independently while still operating as a member of the team.
Opportunity to travel in the future to assist the Senior Designer/Merchandiser with trend shopping and range building.

Senior Men's Wear Fashion Designer.

Eligibility Criteria

BA or Btech in fashion design or equivalent qualification.
At least 5 years experience in an apparel manufacturing/supplier environment or similar.
Experienced in Adobe Illustrator & Indesign on Apple Mac with the ability to draw detailed CADS and Tech packs to assist the Senior Designer/Merchandiser with range building.
Basic knowledge of Photoshop an advantage.
A thorough understanding of Men’s garment construction, patterns, fits and the QA process and the ability to amend fits and specs when required.
An excellent knowledge of knit and woven fabric qualities, washes, finishes, printing and embroidery processes across all categories.
Experience in dealing with import suppliers on email as well as liaising with local printers and manufacturers.
