Job Description
Monitoring Merchandising operations.Extensive Product Research that involved developing range for the customer every season.Also to develop options as per customer needs,in order to maintain the visuals and minimize the cost.To develop Vendors and ensure they are aware of customers implied and stated requirement.Sourcing of Fabrics/trims and vendor development in these areas.Overall business development with the customer .Business allocation to Manufacturers based on their product capabilities.Train team-mates in their job skills,content & the knowledge.Worked closely with product development & design team at the initial sample development stage.Working with tech team and sample room very closely to monitors timely fit & pre-production sample dispatch to customer.Closely working with raw material purchase department to place timely & correct quality trimsMonitoring fabrics on daily basis with fabric department to keep connectivity for production.Follow-up on the production out-put VS plan out with operations team to keep update on weekly basis.Working /monitoring closely with fabric team ,raw-material procurement team ,operations & logistic team to bridge the gap in process.Weekly meeting with Senior management to report back in any point of discussion to escalate at their level.May monitor sales data and stock levels and studying trade.Owing responsibilities & empowerment.Decision making and guided delegation.Time management.Monitoring sales data and studying trade,manufacturers’ and market information to keep informed of changing market conditions.Negotiating purchase,promotion and supply arrangements with suppliers.Liaising with Sr.management on long-term planning.Establishing working plans according to season and budgetary requirements.Worked closely with design team to anticipate consumer trends.Visit customer for design presentation along with design team to showcase product
