Job Description

Work collaboratively with PD team to ensure styling implementation is in keeping with corporate fit strategies, manufacturing capabilities and design aesthetic.
Developing new patterns by manually or cad for Tops and bottoms DENIM garments.
Controlling pattern for sample and production.
Controlling print/embroidery position as buyer requested.
Calculation, control consumption and checking all components are complete on marker.
Controlling & checking cutting planning to make the consumption is correct.
Work collaboratively with sample & product managers to maintain all pattern marker are correct and to be on time as a planning.
To make production pattern for shrinkage allowance as per wash report
Adjusting existing patterns.
Verify accuracy of grading.
Ensure the making of new patterns and samples.
Understand Size Spec.
Must understand non-typical styles.
Excellent follow through and timely attention to details in recording all information required for product specification.
Require through production pattern making expertise. And strong experience working with varied specs.
Coordinate with Designers in development and fittings to ensure fit, construction and that design integrity are maintained.
Responsible for collaborating in sew-by sample and TOP approvals and for giving all fit comments.
Will create all initial development specs and work directly with Designers/Brand Mangers to transition information for production purposes.
Responsible for reviewing garments for shrink and allowances required. Test patterns by making and fitting sample garments.
Draw details on outlined parts to indicate where parts are to be joined, as well as the positions of pleats, pockets, buttonholes, and other features, using computers or drafting instruments.
Determine the best layout of pattern pieces to minimize waste of material, and mark fabric accordingly.
Create a master pattern for each size within a range of garment sizes, using charts, drafting instruments,

Key Skill

Experience in apparel with variety of patterns.
Must be able to interpret and apply grade rules to wide variety of styles
Must understand non-typical styles.
Knowledge of marker making and ability to work with spreaders and cutters in production of samples.
Knowledge of garment construction and ability to work with sewing staff to develop methods to achieve best finishing qualities.
Excellent follow through and timely attention to details in recording all information required for product specification.
To make master pattern and add shrinkage allowance after wash result.
To make final pattern with shrinkage allowance, Production patterns as per styles.
Knowledge of Tailoring an asset.

Experience in Denim Bottoms with wash/non wash program with 10 years and above will be an advantage.
