Job Description
The GM must maximize financial performance and profit by managing staff, business intelligence and establishing and accomplishing the business objectives.Interpret the financial statements of the business.Specifically be able to spearhead the development, communication and execution of effective business strategies, through best in class business processes and performance measurements.Be able to mentor the teams to cultivate skills, innovate business processes and increase consciousness of the interrelationship between each business element in the business unit.Establish and monitor key performance indicators for management.Assume responsibility, accountability and manage reporting of cost centres and ensure cost efficiencies are tested and apply any remedial action where necessary.Must be able to demonstrate the ability to inspire, lead and motivate the teams to achieve business objectives.Have the ability to create a productive work environment in compliance with all company policies and guidelines.Have perceptive commercial vision to eliminate future business risks, ensure governance and compliance within the brands business unit.
