Established in the year 1998, And Designs India Ltd. (ADIL) - the brainchild of Ms. Anita Dongre - Creative Director, Ms. Meena Sehra - Director and Mr. Mukesh Sawlani - Director (Finance) is one of India's most established fashion houses, with more than Twelve years valued experience in the fashion and retail industry.
Starting its first brand and an independent store at Mumbai, ADIL presently owns five premium brands to its kitty - ANITA DONGRE - TIMELESS & IINTERPRET and GRASSROOT (an eco-friendly label) which are the signature labels by the designer herself along with AND - purely a western wear high-street brand & GLOBAL DESI - first of its kind fusion wear brand. Both brands AND & GLOBAL DESI are currently being marketed from over 175 retail points in India, including exclusive brand outlets and doors with the chain of lifestyle stores like Shoppers Stop, Lifestyle and Pantaloons, spread across 24 cities in the country.
The company has crossed over Rs 100 cr. in Gross Revenues last financial year, and is hopeful achieve Rs. 200 cr. by March 2012, with major expansions lined up for all its 3 brands. The company is set to launch approximately 40 EBOs, by end of this financial year in major cities and add an equal number of Doors with the large format chain stores.
