Job Description

Fabric manager for reputed apparel and home furnishings export house
Sourcing of wovens and knits fabrics for garment and home furnishing production
Processing of fabrics for dyeing, printing, and embroideries
Issuing and receiving of greige and processed fabrics
Issue of purchase orders for fabrics with technical details like count, construction, width, gsm etc.
Testing of fabrics for technical and chemical verification
Approval of bills of fabrics, processing etc.
Shrinkage calculation, lot approvals, final required quantity confirmation etc
Co-ordination with production department to finalize total quantities of fabric required, and to issue to cutting with approved lots and paperwork

Eligibility Criteria

Graduate or Post graduate with relevant experience of 7 to 12 years
Candidate should have experience working in reputed export house or with big brands and buyers
Candidate should be able to use computer, emails, ERP, MS Office etc
Candidate should be able to recognize fabrics, and control quality parameters
Candidate should have knowledge of various processing techniques, machines, vendors etc, knowledge of testing (FPT & GPT)
