Making production time and action calendar based on the process flow of an order and indicating who is responsible for the tasksPreparing bill of materials for sourcing department based on technical pack (technical sheet), merchant prepares material requirement sheet. In some cases, merchants develop and purchase few trim by themselves. Sourcing fabric trims / accessories Costings calculations and negotiation with fabric, trim & accessory suppliers Preparing production file with details documents, approvals, samples and swatches and comments on sample from buyerPre production meeting with quality team and production team to discuss style construction details, production plan, PCD and handover production file to the production teamGiving approval of printing, embroidery production and other subcontracting workExecution of orders and controlling the critical pathCoordination with buyer for clarification is required during production and relaying to production and quality team if required related to style workmanship/trims etcCoordinating with quality assurance for initial/mid and final inspection of shipmentCoordination with shipping and documentation department for forwarding the approved shipmentKeeping track of style status and updating the same to management and buyer representativesCommunicating with buyers for repeat orders and feedback and new queries as well as updatesMeeting with sub contractors and input suppliers and explaining new development requirementsPlanning for new season sampling and production ordersCollecting garment samples, trims and different types of swatches from the suppliersSubmission of samples to buyer through courierFollow up with vendors for samples Follow up with buyers for approvals and feedback Giving approval on samplesPreparing purchase order Handle quality issues for sampling as well as production
