Job Description

Handling sampling, designing, costing, production which includes procurement of fabric, dyeing, embroidery, stitching & quality control
Material procurement
Estimation of various embroidery and fabric material
Quality / Price of varies material in general
Marketing & merchandising
Acquainted with different fabrics required for different kind of garments in respect of quality of material, cost implication, procurement
Selecting samples of garment for getting approval from client.
Merchandising process
Production planning
Quality assurance
Knowledge of various materials, embroidery (hand and machine) and other items used in the manufacturing of high end garments
Process flow of each type of garments
Resource planning of each operation
Processing of fabric
Processing of fabric types via bleaching, dyeing, block printing, screen printing, hand and machine embroidery on various different kinds of fabrics
Overlooking & supervising work of the production unit-beading & stitching , costing & pricing
Keep a track of each client and ensure production follows sampling and design dept. sends correct swatches as required

Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduate or Post graduate with relevant experience of 5 to 10 years
    Candidate should be well versed with the different materials required for different styles of garments
    Candidate must be able to speak, read and write english fluently along with excellent interpersonal skills
    Candidate should have good knowledge on garment construction especially for western wear
    Candidate must have good knowledge of MS office
    Candidate should have knowledge of hand embroidery and beading, stitched finished garments
    Candidate should also have negotiating skills
    Candidate from Mumbai only will be preferred
