Job Description
Make product development tracking charts, and communicate with overseas related to packaging, costing, production orders, time and action calendars, sample approvals, and testing.Analyze all price quotes from different vendors and work with overseas to insure target costs are achieved and margins are as per company guidelines.Work with the designers to approve pre-production and production samples for style details and construction.Monitor daily status of development and production processes and adjust schedules as needed to ensure all aspects are properly executed and in adherence with the targeted delivery schedule and quality.Execution of day wise Sample Delivery Plan.To Monitor the samples provided to Marketing from Stock against requirement.Evaluates and resolves technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues.To co-ordinate with departments for smooth execution of sample.Preparation of Sample Validation Sheet.Ensures the accuracy of product and packaging samples and seeks approval required. Provide samples for internal testing on Time. To explore new ideas based on market requirements for maximum achievement in new samples.To Develop products as per customer requirement.Re-engineering of existing products to make product cost effective.
