Job Description
Monitor the rate of RTMs and AQL performance and ensure the manufacturing rejects are kept to a minimum to reduce and maintain the level of internal rejects and reworksEnsure current production is of an acceptable standard including raw materials, work in progress and finished goods and that they operate within the health and safety standards requiredObtain certifications for quality and processEnsure the matching production capabilities are in place whilst the order development process is ingoing through ensuring standards and quality assurance and if needed skills enhancementMonitor productivity through time-output studiesAssist in evaluating new materials and where appropriate provide advice on manufacturing considerations for potential new products ensuring that any changes from the original design specifications are actioned and documented promptly. Ensure all relevant legal legislation to products and systems is met and that documentation is retained for the required length of timeEnsure that all procedures, practices and disciplines, as required by the customer, in order to achieve the necessary technical quality levels are adhered toFollow the wear trials procedure and analysis for all products and ensure that all relevant testing is carried out and recordedDevelop performance indicators quality, productivity, priceEnsure conditionalities, compliance, regulations etc of the specific buyer is followed Obtain the test orders and executeObtain and execute orders and follow upDevelop expansion plans for ordersDevelop a mechanism for ensuring externalities which risk success are brought to attention of relevant authorities.Pinpoint and elaborate on interventions which can be realized by the company and through the support of TTF and other institutionsIdentify and recommend “quick win” product to be produced in each company to establish links and develop a final analysis report for every companyHighlight potential obstacles
