Job Description
Lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control division for the business. Manage end-to-end quality audit, control and assurance processes.Liaison with factories over quality control issues.Conduct periodic and consignment audits to ascertain quality standards and clear consignments.Knowledge of garment manufacturing process and machinery to ensure implementation of quality assurance processes and third party vendor locations.Set expected standards in packaging and product quality and ensure adherence.Ability to define quality standards as per product category and ensure compliance to delivery company expectations on product quality.Monitor final inspection and packaging processes to ensure all products meet company defined packaging and quality norms.Identify gaps in current quality systems and processes as well as implement requisite standards to deliver against expectations.Desired Profile Experience in quality control of recognized global or domestic brands.Managed quality process for Hi fashion woven garment as a category in export house.Willing to travel on short notice to vendor locations if need be, to audit and manage consignment clearances.Manage a team of QC inspectors in multiple production sites.Work with the factories assuring that all samples meet customer technical specifications.Manage QA & QC Functions across multiple locations. A good manager of people, experienced in communicating with buyers and Quality Assurance Department.Have the highest ethical standards.Good fabric technical knowledge across both woven's.Have a good understanding of fabric finishes, washes and pricing.Ensure that all technical packs translated by the factories in the best way to achieve a smooth production process.To ensure all fit comments are amended by factory.To manage sample QA approval process.Ensure consistency and testing requirements are met.Manage pre production meetings with the factories and carr
