Job Description

To source new fabrics from the market. To ensure that right quality of fabric has been procured at the right price. To manage the fabric inventory. Coordinate on a regular basis with all fabrics QCs and fabric mills for fabric schedule and quality parameters. Approve shade bands, lots and other fabric parameters. Coordinate with merchandising department.

Should have thorough knowledge of various types of fabrics like Knitted, Woven and Imported Fabrics. Should have handled the fabric dept of a reputed garment company. Should have relevant technical qualifications. Should have worked in a computerized environment. Should have leadership skills and be able to lead and guide a team. Should have strong negotiating skills.
