Job Description
- Responsible for the overall recruitment, training and development of staff and performance management.- Competitive shop to understand market and recruit effectively.- Create and maintain a team environment within the store.- Develop and recruit promotable candidates for company needs.- Resolve interpersonal issues in partnership Human Resources and Director of Stores.- Create, implement and lead all sales and training initiatives.- Implement and review store policies/procedures on a regular basis and ensure staff adheres to them.- Observe staff on the selling floor and their interaction with customers, co-workers and overall customer service level.- Provide in the moment and formal feedback based on observations. Share observations and next steps with Director of Stores.- Resolves escalated issues in partnership with Director of Stores.- Provide training to new hires and provide continuous refresher and specialized training, as needed, to sales associates.- Analyze reports to identify deficiencies and opportunities.- Develop relationships and communicate effectively with merchants.- Ensure product assortments to meet store profiles – seasonal input on buys for store.- Strong focus on in-store events, planning and teaming with Director of Marketing.- Quarterly Evaluation of P&L Budget with CEO.- Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to develop a repeat and loyal clientele.- Manage and maintain current programs for optimal performance practices, including training modules, communication binder, bulletin boards, holds and damages, schedules and backroom organization.- Hold morning information and motivational meetings in partnership with management team.
