Job Description
Sourcing from fabric market or suppliers for stock fabric as well as new developments.Arranging fabric yardages as per selection in presentation for making garment samples.Checking fabric count/construction & design pattern.Negotiating the price of fabric from supplier as per required quality & standard.Raising purchase order for fabrics based on needs.Timely co-ordination with the vendors & complete follow up with suppliers.Placing orders with various vendors as per requirement handed over by the production merchandiser.Ensuring quality requirements are met in tandem with quality team.Ensuring receipt and stocking of raw material fabric in the fabric store as per plan.Ensure issuance of fabric from store to production manager within 48 hours of arrival.
