Job Description

Provide instruction and demonstration of machine & parts therewith parts,stitches, garment parts, assembling, motion economy & machine maintenance
Ensure safe and appropriate use of all equipment
Liaise regularly with the HR training manger and IE manager to advise on program developments or requirements, and to promptly report on any concerns
Participate in further improvement of the training program for effective upskilling of new operators.
Guide volunteers/supervisors to ensure supported learning for all group participants.
Know how to set up a world class operator training center.
Implement / develop selection procedures for various job profiles from cut to pack including garment inspectors.
Manufacturing methodologies including the use of machines, folders and attachments.
Exposure to design and implementation of work aids and attachments to simplify methods would be beneficial

Eligibility Criteria

Graduate or Post graduate with relevant experience of 5 to 10 years
Candidate should have experience and medium-level skills of operating industrial sewing machines – SNLS, DNLS, Overlock, flatlock, feed of arm etc
Candidate should have good verbal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate cross-culturally and relate to a broad range of people with varying English/Amharic language levels.
Candidate should be reliable and flexible, respect confidentiality at all times, maintain a positive, optimistic and non-judgmental attitude
