Job Description

Manage premium brands in sewing threads and select accessories categories.
Expand premium category through effective marketing communications, trade marketing, BTL activations and town action plans.
Create new approach to marketing communication and customer outreach by using digital marketing.
Launch new products to bring in new customers - analyse need gaps, define target audience and product attributes, establish positioning, pricing, sales forecast and marketing plan.
Analyse market/consumer trends to promote right product mix.
Support sales and distribution team through customer/market insights and well informed recommendations.
Conduct marketing functions of market research, consumer activation, media buying & communication and development of collaterals in liaison with research & advertising agencies.
Internal interface with Quality/Manufacturing for new product development and reviewing existing product performance, Logistics for tracking replenishment of forecast, Legal for adherence to statutory guidelines on packaging and ensuring trademark protection, Finance for product pricing
Forecasting review and support the system Forecast and demand plan given by Logistics for all branches for the concerned products.
Review and control D&SM stocks across branches
Knowledge, Competencies and Key Behaviours Required
An MBA with 4-5 years experience in sales and distribution management and 1-2 years in product/brand management
Excellent written and oral communication skills, analytical skills and leadership skills
Significant experience and knowledge of sales and distribution management, distribution channels and marketing.
Adequate exposure to digital marketing.
Basic understanding of SAP, Supply Chain, Finance and Trademark law
Reports to : VP Marketing, Consumer & Accessories
Collaborative Liaisons: Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain and Legal functions. Product managers of other categories.
