Job Description
To check all new orders planned in the system and follow up with Merchant for technical details.To attend daily Production meeting regarding new styles.To co-ordinate & check with Production & Planning department for PP sample and give call outs accordingly.To conduct Pre Production Meeting with concerned Merchant & buying Q.A.Update the PPM discussion points to concerned Merchant /PD and Production and ensure same are implemented in the bulk.To conduct all inspection like Pre Production, In line, Mid line and Final Inspections and insuring only quality goods are accepted.Give all type approval to packing like first pcs approval for packing method, trims & Carton marking etc.To communicate quality related information to all the relevant departments.To Visit outside vendor for quality assurance & approval. To discuss with buying house regarding styles, if any concern, then take approval with concerned merchant and final inspection from third party & buying house.To co-ordinate with external QA during inspection.Testing and Assuring the quality of product as per export norms.To have Experience in Buyer compliance and relevant auditing methods such as Inspection/ Testing and Quality monitoring from yarn to final finish.To maintain proper record of all the inspection reports.
