Job Description

Sales Strategy (Customer and Geography de-risking)
Grow sales for the market by driving resources to attain sales and profitability targets by de-risking customer and geography/location/region concentration
Increase NSR by focusing on product innovation
Execute strategies that ensure maximum profitability (based on EBITDA and NSR, tonnage targets set by COO Home Textiles)
Promote the domestic Trident bands by strong marketing activities in the domestic market
Identify potential customers in the domestic market based on marketing intelligence and study the size and characteristics of the market, and assess the competitive, economic, social and political forces affecting growth or decline
Oversee and execute sales & marketing infrastructure and processes to access and study all possible enquiries floated in the market
Ensure proper visibility of Trident Limited within a the concerned market to increase brand recall
Sales Planning and Execution
Planning and distribution of sales targets to the sales team
Tracking daily sales, performing gap analysis vis--vis targets and take corrective actions
Ensuring achievement of targeted MOM growth and YTD growth targets
Explaining the field force in each market about the Inputs/ Schemes given from HO on each Brand
Circulate various tracking reports like DSRs etc
Responsible for Commercial aspects of sales stocks, collections and overdues
Execution of Below the Line (BTL) activities in the market
Circulate feedback of competition in the market
Review enquiries and requests for proposals (RFPs) and ensure speedy submission of bids
Monitor systems for tracking of enquiries
Respond to enquiries in the domestic market
Review/recommend/suggest pricing depending on the value of the deal and the quantity of purchase
Channel Improvement & Distribution
Execute channel strategies and mix, manage the relationships with key channel partners (e.g. agents, modern trade, general trade) to drive profitability and growth (maximize sales realizations)
Identify and appoint channel partners covered by Trident after benchmarking the same with other competitors in the area / territory / region / geography
Monitor the performance of the channel partners through periodic reviews and take corrective actions accordingly
Customer Management
Identify and manage a very select group of customers who are high value/ high growth customers for the business across markets, channels and products
Hand over account management responsibilities to identified account /sales managers and hand hold them and provide necessary support
Attend to customer complaints, if any
Effectively manage business relationships with key customers to grow business
People Development:
Build a strong team, attract and retain talent in the market
Provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to direct reports
Plan and review performance of direct reports and provide developmental inputs
Identify training needs of the team members and ensure that the same is addressed through training programs organized by HR
R&R for employee motivation
