Assessment – Must be able to complete 24 mills in 12 months (12 in Bangladesh and 12 in Pakistan)Servicing – Must be able to complete 12 mills in 12 months (6 in Bangladesh and 6 in PakistanQC functions (Testing facilities – fiber testing and yarn testing); type of data collected (fiber data such as HVI & AFIS, and yarn data such as IPI, evenness, strength, etc.)Warehousing (indoor vs outdoor storage; surrounding environment – rain, sun, heat, cold, humidity, etc.; bale categorization; bale sorting for processing)Bale laydown protocol (fiber selection and arrangement)Evaluate processing lines (opening & cleaning; carding; drawing; combing; roving; spinning; winding)Evaluate yarn packaging and steaming/conditioning processEvaluate maintenance process (regular, random, or need based maintenance)Fixed costs (energy, wages, maintenance, rent, insurance, etc.)Variable costs (raw material, wastes, production & efficiency – OPS, yield of different yarn counts & spinning systems)Cost of fiber and yarn qualityFiber damage in opening, cleaning and cardingQuality of comber noilYarn quality problems (weak yarn, uneven yarn, high IPI, etc.)Fabric problems associated with yarn quality (barre’, dye problems, fabric torque, pilling, contamination, etc.)Share preliminary findings with mill personnelPrepare detailed report of the findings and suggest corrective measures with estimated timelineAssess the request by evaluating all pertinent information via phone, email, visit, or any combination thereofWork with mill personnel & local rep to schedule the work desiredo Based on assessment results and consult with mill personnel, schedule servicing visit with the mill to implement corrective measures. Advising may include but not limited toMachine settingsBale laydown stepsFiber blending proportionEnvironmental conditionsHousekeeping practicesMaintenance repairs, etc.Measure the results and share the outcome with mill personnel. Prepare detailed report outlining steps taken and their resultant outcome. Submit the detailed report to CCI and mill executive
