Job Description

The candidate has to be well-versed in the technicalities and costings of different types of fabric like knits , wovens , denims etc .
The candidate has to have a set database of areas , markets , mills , vendors to procure the fabrics and also have a working relationship with the mills , vendors .
The candidate must be strategic and must identify and source latest developments in the textile industry which might add value to the brands offering .
The candidate must be updated with the latest trends and ensure the brand keeps in pace with the market , the designers of the brand will coordinate with the candidate on this front The candidate has to be well-versed with the process and technicalities of manufacturing different type of garments like knits, denims , woven etc.
Must be familiar with the costing details and needs of both sampling and production -Must also have a set database and working relationship with vendors and job-workers in different regions like Tirupur , Ludhiana , Bangalore, Mumbai and so on .
Must also have knowledge of different type of printing process and technology , washing and finishing processes .
Must know the technicalities of how to read and process a techpack and all the aspect related to same.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who has already worked for brands , retailers dealing in street wear and casual wear . Or a candidate who has worked in a buying house in production , dealing in such garments .
