interpreting buyer briefs : candidates should have design sense to understand & interpret buyer mood board/themes.Research & analysis : candidates should have the ability to scan through textile trend forecasting websites, catalogue & competitor websites to analyse and document trends as per buyer mood board/themes.Design development : candidates should have ability to select suitable motifs, create variations to motif & scale, make design layouts, set design repeats, work on colour ways and transfer design to CAD. Once the file is ready, candidates should be able to do colour separation in the CAD and handover final file to vendor.Special emphasis : candidates expertise in developing designs for printing process like hand screen, rotary, block & digital, printing, making copy right changes to design, developing surface design patterns for embroidery and creating weave patterns on CAD.
